The world’s lightest chair

In 1957 the Italian designer Gio Ponti created the Superleggera chair, weighing only 1,700 grams. In 2019, Oskar Zięta took up the featherweight challenge. He introduced ULTRALEGGERA, a stable, modern chair that broke the record, weighing 1,660 grams. It is supported by an ultra-lightweight durable frame manufactured in the innovative FiDU technology, with a laser-cut seat and backrest. Everything is made of one material: top-quality aluminium.
ULTRALEGGERA follows the philosophy of mono-material thinking and is fully recyclable, meeting the requirements of the circular economy.

Unobtrusive deformation

CRASH VASES reflect the “controlled loss of control” technique. The vases embrace the notion of deformation. Grouped together, they open a narrative of simplicity, supported by irregular foundations displaying the vividness of steel.

Architectural candelabrum

TRIGLAV is a steel candleholder inspired by slender and soaring Gothic vaults. Its three arms of various heights are like modern tower constructions—delicate in their verticality but stable and unyielding.

Tafla O Mirror

RONDO

Mirrored sculpture

A functional and artistic object, RONDO expands the definition of a mirror and the concept of reflection simultaneously. A three-dimensional steel blown mirror designed with passion constantly engages in a rounded dialogue with the surroundings.

TAFLA O

Liquid droplets

TAFLA O—a subtle, jewel-like steel drop to be placed on a wall. An addition that complements interiors and allows the story to unravel in space, reflecting a single plot or myriad plots in the surface.

CHIPPENSTEEL

Fusion of tradition and innovation

CHIPPENSTEEL 0.5 is a fine example of blending the FiDU process and craftsmanship. Its 2D form is cut from a metal sheet and goes through a process of welding and inflating to become a functional, three-dimensional chair. The latest optimal form of CHIPPENSTEEL 0.5 emerged from executing numerous experiments, prototypes and design processes.
