Light is the subject of our comprehensive studies on form and emotion. It is a distinct entity that subtly engages in an intimate connection with both humans and spaces. We aspired to design this realm—the relationship between eye, emotion and light. An architecture of reflections, fixtures, and hues. Through technology, we sculpt metal. By touching light, we have sculpted Zieta Lamps. We have composed an architecture of reflections in space. We have designed a light effect, not just a lamp. We have designed Zieta Lighting, which tells and creates a story.
Zieta Lighting marks a new chapter in the Zieta Studio narrative, where the object of fascination is light.
Zieta Lighting is a tale of excellence in craftsmanship, respect for tradition, and a fascination with innovation. It is a story of finding beauty in functionality and functionality in beauty. Based on research, it is an adaptation of production to a demanding but sustainable future in the form of ambient, monomaterial lamps. It is the culmination of our admiration for light, reflections, and colours, through which we craft the art of illumination.

Ultra-thin light studies
LUNA is a highly technological, ultra-thin lamp. The 2mm OLED light source is encased in metal precisely shaped by the spinning technique. LUNA’s stainless steel fixture in a small format tells a story of the complexity of its craftsmanship. It mimics natural sunlight and provides a perfect balance of red, green, and blue colours throughout the visible spectrum. This is ensured by R9 > 75 and CRI 90. High R9 guarantees that objects illuminated by LUNA are real and vivid, enhancing its potential for use in commercial spaces. LUNA does not emit very short blue waves, is safe for the eyes and skin, and does not create a glare effect. All components of the LUNA lamp are detachable, and the fixture itself is recyclable. The lamp is available in two versions: 3000K or 4000K.

The composition of the lamp’s shape combines technological deformation using FiDU with traditional metal spinning techniques. The fixture is monomaterial and recyclable. It is an ambient lamp with interchangeable, high-quality components. The LED diode used in the lamp has a CRI of 90 and R9 ≤ 60, achieving high-quality colour rendering. HARMONICA delights both individually and in multi-element constellations. It is available in two versions: 3000K or 4000K.

It is a lamp that combines the precision of steel processing with spontaneous deformation on the edges. LAMPIN was created in reference to the shape of one of Oskar Zięta’s first objects, the PIN hanger. High CRI 90 and R9 ≤ 60 ensure excellent colour rendering quality. LAMPIN can appear as a single accent in space or as a multi-element set of elegant, modern pendant lamps. LAMPIN adds lightness to spaces. It’s constellations create a vivid image of light reflected in the edge deformations of inox light fixtures. Monomaterial, recyclable, energy-efficient
We merge traditional metalworking techniques with modern technology. We control deformations so that despite the unpredictable wrinkles inherent in FiDU technology, there are points that remain constant. We added a pinch of predictability to our “controlled loss of control.” This allowed us to introduce electrical components with repeatability measured in tenths of millimetres. This is a significant innovation in FiDU technology, as so far we have worked with the volumetric expansion process without perforations and additional components.

Our light fixtures combine many years of Zieta Studio’s advanced materials research and traditional metal-spinning techniques, once used for making bells. Spin metal forming combined with FiDU technology is a clear symbol of how essential it is to look to the past to build the future. It’s a fusion of craftsmanship, art, and new technologies. Zieta Studio lamps are not just a new chapter but an entire encyclopaedia of new knowledge in combining metalworking techniques, design, and the potential of algorithms.
Light: Beautiful and Certified
We treat light comprehensively. It is an object of aesthetic delights, but also of advanced technological studies. The result of our in-depth research is ambient lamps with good energy efficiency and a replaceable light source. Zieta Lamps last 50,000 hours and they have a 20-year warranty (assuming ambient lighting for an average of 3 hours a day). The energy efficiency in the ambient category makes Zieta Lamps a great choice also for commercial spaces. The specifications allow our light fixtures to be included in the design of energy-efficient buildings. But also in restaurant, medical and retail spaces, where true colour rendering is crucial.
As part of our research work, we managed to greatly optimize the design of the lamps. We focused on reducing components by integrating the functions of reflectors and radiators directly into the structure of the metal fixtures. Traditional components such as the heat sink and reflector were consequently eliminated, which not only simplified the design but also significantly reduced the consumption of raw materials. The concept of Zieta Lighting is based on the assumption that the luminaires, apart from their aesthetic function, can effectively perform tasks previously assigned to reflectors and radiators. This innovative technological integration increases production efficiency and facilitates the recycling process by reducing components.
The result of Zieta Studio’s research is ambient lamps with high energy efficiency and interchangeable light sources.
Until now, Zieta Studio has been committed to monomateriality, which is gaining increasing popularity in the era of sustainable production. While lamps cannot yet be fully monomaterial, they can be produced with responsible, ecological thought. Zieta Lamps are crafted from natural alloys that are almost 100% recyclable, with minimal loss of material quality. Our lighting forms are designed using stainless steel, black steel, aluminium, and copper. We also ensure that other components, light sources, power supplies, and cables are replaceable and certified in accordance with RoHS standards.

How to turn a flat 0.8mm into a spatial 100mm?
Zieta Lamps are a manifesto of our relentless work on transforming a standard metal profile into beautiful interior objects. The process of creating Zieta light fixtures is a redefinition of the FiDU profile’s function through parameter modification. Deforming metal at Zieta Studio involves the concept of volumetric expansion—an incremental technology that pumps flat objects into three-dimensional forms.
Zieta Lamps are functional local lights and inspiring artistic installations.
During research and development on the Zieta lamp collection, we added to our vocabulary the concept of function volumetricization. This happens along two vectors: practical, changing the function of the steel profile into a lamp; and arithmetic, elevating air exponentially in the description of the production process. The best illustration of this is the HARMONICA lamp, which radically increases its volume during FiDU deformation. This is our new method of addition. This is our answer to the question: How to turn a flat 0.8mm into a spatial 100mm?
Zieta objects—Highlights
We have also infused a touch of light into our Zieta metal mirrors. Introducing RONDO and TAFLA LED—decorative and functional lighting concepts, doubling as provocative wall mirror-sculptures. Dedicated LED panels are positioned behind the mirrors, imparting an entirely new dimension to their reflections. Adjustable LED light panels are available in various colour versions and intensities. The light flash is two-sided, enhancing the narrative of potential reflections in deformed steel. Illuminated Zieta metal mirrors are available for both new objects like RONDO and TAFLA, as well as those already present in the space.
