We kick off 2025 with an exciting debut at Maison&Objet in Paris. This year, the renowned trade fair delves into a new dimension of Sur/Realism in design. From January 16–20, 2025, our deformed steel objects, envisioned by Oskar Zięta, will take center stage in the French capital at Hall 7, Booth C78, and in two neighboring curated exhibitions.

A tribute to and contrast with surrealism

Maison&Objet, established in 1995 in Paris, is a premier international trade fair dedicated to lifestyle, interior design, and decoration. It serves as a global hub for creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship, drawing professionals from around the world. This year’s theme celebrates the centenary of “pure psychic automatism,” inspired by André Breton’s first surrealist manifesto from 1924.

Pure and surreal compositions

In this surrealist context, our works will appear under the thoughtful curation of Elizabeth Leriche. The metal mirror Rondo Helix Nebula will be featured in the WHAT’S NEW? IN DECOR space, while the mesmerizing OKO in inox will be part of Curatio, a curated selection of 20 objects by Thomas Haarmann.

A celestial narrative in metal

At our signature booth, we will present a cosmic-inspired collection of metal shades set against a serene backdrop of subtle beige tones. Visitors can immerse themselves in our unique mirror constellations, rendered in gold and our signature stainless steel (inox). Explore these and more at Hall 7, Booth C78, within the SIGNATURE sector.

Iconic design, responsibility, and an anniversary

In the spirit of our proximity to the Centre Pompidou, we proudly highlight the PLOPP stool, an iconic piece permanently featured in the Parisian museum’s collection. This playful design icon—our “Polish Folk Object Pumped with Air” and a proud member of SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection 1998-2024—celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025.

Through Zieta Studio’s presentation at Maison&Objet, we share not only compelling narratives of design, form, and function but also our philosophy of “less is less.” Embracing ultralight, monomaterial, and sustainable design principles, we continue to redefine what responsible design means today.
